Piano 56 Vol.1 Foundations |
“Piano 56 Foundations (P56-F)” is our second course, as it uses all of the concepts in “Piano 56 (P56)” to help further your understanding and growth as a pianist.
The first day of each week begins with a warm-up that will help refine your technique and increase your finger control and speed. You will use the warm-up throughout the entire week, and this begins to instill the practice habit of beginning each day with a very focused exercise.
The rhythmic and technical difficulty of each piece of music will increasingly become more challenging as you progress through this course. This will lay a solid “foundation” to your understanding of music, and your overall ability to play the piano.
You will also explore new hand positions and fingering throughout P56-F. Through repetition and practice, you will increase your ability to sight read and improve your muscle memory and overall control and confidence at the piano.
If you just finished P56, then P56-F is the next step in your journey. If you already have a generic understanding of how to read music, you may want to quickly look over what was covered in P56 to see if P56-F is a better place for you to begin.
